Wow! This place is freaking awesome. From a ridiculously fatty bakery to pancakes, make your own pasta, yogurt, and oatmeal, you really can't go wrong. Plus, they have an awesome water wheel and and some nice views of the river :)

Stayed at the resort over the weekend with my family. The food was pretty terrible. Girlfriend had baked ziti which was bland and looks like it was there a long time. I had a flat bread pizza that was just as terrible. The desserts were pretty good though. The place needs to be updated too. Looks kind of old.

I'm giving one star only because I saw a mouse run through the area in front of the bakery. I sincerely wish I were kidding. I was too scared to order anything. If there is one mouse out in front of the guests, how many are in the kitchen?

A lot of choices, so with most places with options some are good, some are not so good. the Turkey Cajun Club is good, the homemade chips are awesome, my brother was raving about how good the build your own salad was. the breadsticks are decent. not a bad place to grab a quick bite to eat before heading out to the park.

Typical quick serve fare. The food is decent enough, but if you don't have a dining plan, it can get expensive. The dinner portions of pasta are quite large but more expensive than the other options. The pasta is prepared with a lot of olive oil and served in paper boxes. The combo makes for a puddle at the bottom, but it's still okay. It is all quite bland food. It gets very crowded around breakfast as people prepare for the parks so take that into account when trying to figure out scheduling. The staff is noticeably less enthusiastic than most you will encounter around Walt Disney World, but I suspect that might be from one too many impromptu "Let It Go" sing alongs...

Decent food High prices...very high. Read $10 for a bacon cheeseburger and French fries. MahiMahi sandwich is the best I have had. Fries are also good.

Desperation would be the only motive you would have to eat in here. Whether you're an agitated parent trying to pacify a gaggle of rambunctious brats or a business traveler with no rented vehicle to use as a means of escape, you will probably find yourself in here since it's such a long journey in the dark back to your room. It's quite an expansive place that looks like a Disneyland cotton mill, something you'd find in Frontierland next to the Country Bear Jamboree. It was about 8PM, and I had come back from the Dolphin where I was spending the evening at a huge buffet beach party where I didn't find a single thing appetizing. When I entered the food court, I noticed that half of the six stands were closing shop for the evening. There was only one where I could see the young server trying to package up a bunch of burgers for an impatient mother of what appeared to be the cast of "The Sound of Music". It was sad to watch this poor thing pressing down on all these plastic lids that refused to snap shut. She felt bad that I was waiting to order, but I assured her that I was in no hurry. I ended up ordering a $9.99 Royal Chicken Sandwich, which appeared to be a microwaved processed breast slathered with an overly sweetened barbecue sauce (see photo). Only the kaiser roll was edible, and the side pasta salad tasted like it was prepared sometime before Thanksgiving. Half of it went into the garbage as I ended up dreaming about the vending machine back in my lodge building. It really wasn't the happiest place on earth. FOOD - 1.5 stars...a microwavably mediocre sandwich doesn't satisfy anyone's late-night munchies AMBIANCE - 2.5 stars...a big place where you could hide and eat your bad food in peace SERVICE - 3 stars...that poor server had my sympathy..she's the only reason I didn't give this place one star TOTAL - 2 stars...now I know what it means to "go through the mill"

As far as food courts go, this is a pretty solid one. One of the better ones on property. There's definitely something for everyone so take a quick look around at everything before deciding what you want! The food isn't mind blowing, but no one will go hungry. Create your own omelete bar, create your own yogurt/granola, and create your own pasta dish are the stand outs. It might take a little longer to get your food, but worth it!

Fair food fast. Had a really good cupcake here. Wouldn't be my first choice but it's food.

We stopped by for lunch service and it was a mad house. Fast food quality food so there's nothing to be excited about. The only major issue we had was the lack of food trays to bus food around. Stacks and stacks of dirty trays around. Who's running this place? Lots of customers had to juggle food at the cashier's for lack of available clean trays. Staff seemed busy running around like headless chickens.

Very much the same as the one in the French Quarter (where we stayed). This has a slightly different menu so we walked up here to try it out a couple of times. Once you are out of the parks and back at the resorts, it is not so easy to get off them again. Plus, the kids enjoyed going to a different pool. The main pool at Riverside has a much larger water slide than the one at French Quarter. That said, it is also much, much more crowded so be aware of that. Anyhow, the food here is overpriced cafeteria food but I have to say the quality is better than average cafeteria. They did a really good job with our fish sandwich ($11). Not a bad price for a well executed large fish sandwich. Plus it came with a side of slaw.

We all four ordered the muffalette sandwich with either the side of slaw or hand made chips. The sandwich were flavorful but rather salty. They reminded me of a pizza or calzone in flavor. The slaw was flavorless. The hand made chips were chip but full of oil and just as flavorless as the slaw. I paid $6.50 for an equally flavorless Budweiser beer.

Nice, large food court inside the Disney Port Orleans Riverside Resort. It is very busy in the mornings, so make sure to go and get your table right away. It has many hot stations, with a variety of selections, like: Omelettes, Eggs & Bacon, Croissants, even the yummy Mickey Waffles. I did like all the varieties of breakfast items and heard that lunch is even better. The only reason i gave it 4 out of 5 stars is the busy feel to it. It is extremely crowded and hard to get a table, depending on what time you arrive. Other than that, it's a solid place for breakfast. Prices are average as well.

It was fresh, tasty, and stayed open late. Served its purpose. The fish sandwich was good, chicken nuggets and fries were delicious and so was the caprese pizza.

Very wide selection of bakery items, and standard breakfast plates. Lots of fruit available. Today, (morning) there is a ton of people. We are sitting in the River Roost section, lots of tables. Pancakes, waffles in the shape of Mickey are a kids favorite. Scrambled eggs on players with either sausage or bacon. Cleanliness is 5/5, service is 5/5. They do have a line to make custom omelets. Drinks are wide variety from Expresso to juices. This is our third breakfast experience here.

Understaffed, disorganized and ok food. Omelet lady didn't seem like she wanted to be there.

A nice way to either start or end your day. Our first day here we were starved from the flight and ate here for lunch. Mom and I both had the burgers. They were pretty good sized patties and tasty as well. The chipotle BBQ and bacon definitely helped me get through a long sleep deprived day at the park. The real treat was in their bakery. The Magic Bars were delicious and the Cheese Danish (with coffee) was a perfect way to start the day. Did I mention the cinnamon roll? Yum. The only time it was extremely busy was during breakfast. But there's plenty of seating available. And sometimes the line of coffee can be long with parents holding a kid with one arm while wrestling with the coffee machine with the other. If you can pass on it, do it. I had a build your own omelet and it definitely wasn't worth the money. My only complaint was the food court closed earlier than the parks during the evening Extra Magic hours. So if you get back looking to fill up on a soft drink before bed, you're outta luck. Despite that, this food court was pretty awesome. Its bakery is definitely a great way to use up those extra snack options on the dining plan.

This is the food court inside Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort. It's fast, easy, clean with plenty of seats. Food was alright. Standard food court quality. But hey, you can get those Mickey waffles here. They made me happy.

There are many things going on at the Riverside food court. It is hard to figure out what to rate on. So I guess you rate on levels of those things and compare them to the other resorts food courts. I have stayed in some other places and Riverside is about middle of the pack. Atmosphere is really loud, here. Mainly due to the sheer size of this food court. It is the largest of any resort I have been to. Maybe the Caribbean compares slightly. But, the noise reverberates through the place. This isn't a negative for someone with whiney or loud kids. The food court stays open fairly late. I believe it is open till 11PM or maybe 12AM on some nights. The drink machines are often broken or not working with your resort cup the way they should. With the noise, being tired from park hopping, and general frustration, this can lead to violence toward the machines. You've been warned. The decor of the food court is really odd. It looks like they ran out of chairs and tables of one style and contacted the American pickers to find them odds and ends of chair styles from someones junk pile in their barn. I see some fake antiques. Possible real antiques. Some Martha Stewart Kmart chairs. Maybe some Walmart selections. There is some nice moving millwork type pieces around. I kinda dig that. The food selections are Disney. What's more to say? Dried out burgers or subpar pizza dressed to look good. But put a suit on a turd and it still is a turd. Here, you at least can get a decent variety of crap Disney five times processed foods. But it at least gives a little bit of nourishment and binds you up so that you aren't sitting on the toilet during valuable park times. I am having a little fun with the Disney food as it is really disturbing how a multi gazillion dollar entertainment company cannot make burgers even to the level of a Mcdonalds or pizza to the level of a Little Caesars. But they can't. Even the "fresh" salads have a weird taste of preservative to them. But I digress. Back to the Mill. It is standard Disney. One really great thing, here , is the dessert counter. The ice cream sundae is quite enjoyable. I also like the carrot cake. Maybe stay away from the burger that has all the onion rings and bbq sauce on it. It just tastes weird and the onion ring is typically a soggy breading over an uncooked onion. The Mill food court is passable. But there are better options at Disney. So, it is ok if you just want to crash at your home resort. Otherwise, find a decent place at the parks before leaving. The Mill isn't aweful. The service is really good. Cashiers are friendly and they even sing a little song and do a little dance every hour or so. But they also can't make the food fresher or tastier.

This is a review of the breakfast food: We had lunch here and it was great! Breakfast is another story. Eggs are powdering was in the military or 12 yrs and never had eggs as bad as these. Even after 2 days the eggs got worse. Staff looks confused and un trained. Potatoes are so salty other than that the taste and texture is good.

The Riverside Mill Food Court at the WDW Port Orlean's Resort is a solid 4 star quick food establishment serving only the Riverside Resort. You are not likely to wander into this place if you are staying at any other Disney Resort. But, you could wander over from the French Quarter Resort. And vice versa. Read my review for Port Orleans Riverside resort. Fast food, sort of cafeteria style eating area serving breakfast lunch and dinner at reasonable prices. It is no secret to any one that you are going to be paying "Resort" prices for food at WDW. But, if I were comparing prices to my home town of Honolulu...these prices are very reasonable. While it may seem expensive to some, consider this example: French Toast served with eggs bacon and sausage $6.19 (feb. 2012). This is a big breakfast at a reasonable price and it is good too. Just what you need before a full day of adventures at WDW. Another example: Dinner: Cajun Chicken Sandwich with pasta salad or fries $8.99. Very reasonable with good quality. This is good value. I'm a believer!! Disney Dining Plan: If you want more value, you can opt for the Disney Dining Plan. Your complete breakfast or dinner here would be included with the plan. Plus, you get a daily "snack" included that you could get here. Drink, ice-cream, brownies etc. Ambience: This place is nicely decorated and clean. It seems to be large enough to accommodate very large crowds. It can be a little loud with all the excited kids and adults but the noise level in no worse than any other cafeteria. If you are seeking a quiet romantic atmosphere for your dining. This will disappoint you. yelp.com/biz_photos/mIMb… Quality: Better than you might expect. Several food stations open that serve different types of items. For example, different stations for pizza, salads and sandwiches. Once you figure out what you want you just stand in that line. I was impressed each day that we walked in. A lot of effort and man power goes into serving the food and keeping things running smoothly. You pay at one of several cash registers and find a table. This food court is a solid 4 stars. I don't think you can go wrong here.

Food court always has pretty good food. However, it gets so busy here in the mornings. I found my eggs were often cold. Also, you might be waiting in line for awhile to checkout. Otherwise the food is usually pretty good tasting.

I expected better food on the kids menu at Disney. The make your own pasta and make your own omelet are the only thing worth spending your money on.

Do you like painfully long lines for second rate highway truck stop quality food? Well my goodness if you do then Riverside Mill is for you. While our daughters were doing the Pirate Cruise the lovely wife and I decided to grab a late breakfast on a Sunday and damn was that a bad idea. First off the place was mad-crazy-bongo-bongo busy crowded. The main dining area does not have nearly enough seating to handle the kinds of crowds that show up here on weekend mornings and then they send you down the hall to eat in the seating area at one of their other F&B outlets. While we did find a seat, that was packed as well. Where next? The lobby? Walk all the way over to the French Quarter? As for the food, nothing is fresh aside from the omelet area (although that had easily the longest wait) as everything is sitting in metal chafing trays already predone and it's just getting slapped on your plate. Mmmmm, greasy and shitty good. Also there are no line queues. The lines to pay kind of criss-cross with the lines for the omelet area and the other three areas creating a wall of people. Yet the coolers for bottled beverages are back in a corner between all of the food areas so people are always trying to cut in line and through the lines. It is pure freakin' chaos! Maybe for lunch and dinner things get more normal but if ever make it back to Riverside for anything we'll make sure to seriously avoid breakfast here big time as it can be a total disaster. (This was also in December on probably the 2nd or 3rd slowest week of the year for Disney. I can't even imagine what a holiday or the Summer looks like.)

Overpriced, sulky faced "casts members" work here and it has mediocre food. This place carries your typical offerings like burgers, chicken tenders, pizza, hot dogs etc.
